Location
Villa Dahabitat is located in a quiet surrounding in the centre of Dahab, within walking distance from the sea. You can see Saudi Arabia across the sea and behind you have the beautiful mountains of the Southern Sinaï. Supermarkets, liquor- and other stores and lot of restaurants are nearby. You can get there by foot in a few minutes.
‘Dahabitat’ is not located on a big street, but on a sand track with no name. Sometimes you can see a camel or some goats passing by. It is really Egypt!
Living-room
There is a cosy living-room with DVD player, a t.v., a large dining table, two comfortable sofas and pleasant lighting.
Kitchen
It is an open kitchen with all comforts, such as a gas ring, an electric kettle, a coffee machine and a toaster, a refrigerator with freezer, a grill- and baking oven. And of course there are plenty of pots and pans, tea cloths, plates, cutlery, etc.
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms, both with airco.
One bedroom is a very large one with a double bed and a big wardrobe.
The other bedroom has two big single beds. There is also a babybed and a double- and single air mattress with a pump which you can use for extra guests.
The relaxroom (as we call it) is a snug room and you can also use it as an extra bedroom. Here is also our ‘library’.
There is sufficient bed linen and for when it might get a little cold at night sometimes in winter: there are also eiderdown quilts.
Bathroom
In the bathroom is a shower and a toilet. Also there is a hair dryer, an iron and there are sufficient bath towels. You need to bring your own towels for the beach.
The garden
There is a nice walled garden around the house with a lot of private areas, a covered terrace, date palms (with sweet dates in the season), a brickwork bench with a mattress and pillows where you can relax, two lounge-chairs and other garden furniture.
We have someone who will take care of the garden, watering, etc. At night the garden is illuminated by fairy-lights
Roof Terrace
Beautiful mosaic stairs take you up to the big roof terrace where you can relax in the sun or in the shade in Bedouienenstyle under the arisha: a kind of pergola with a roof made of palm leaves. Also here you will find a lounge-chair. There are lights and electric sockets and the roof terrace is illuminated by fairy-lights.
Internet, safe-deposit and security cameras
Good internet is available and there is a small safe-deposit that you can use. Unfortunately, lately there have been some burglaries in Dahab, which is why we have security cameras placed. In the event that ………..
